There
are certainly a lot of options when it comes to the religious world
with churches on every corner. When you visit, they each seem to teach
something different. It makes you wonder if everyone is working from
the same book? The Bible tells us that God is not the author of
confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33), yet that is exactly what we find
today. What is the remedy? Get back to the Bible!
The Lamar church of Christ seeks to do just that by cutting through centuries of tradition and doctrines of men, using the Bible as the sole guide for our worship (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Timothy 1:13) and a successful spiritual life (Psalm 119:105). The churches of Christ use only the Bible for its basis of belief and teaching, thus rejecting the creeds and rules of men. We simply desire to worship our Creator and Savior in the manner He desires (after all worship is about HIM not me).
Worship Times Sunday AM Bible class begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday AM worship . . . 10:20 a.m. Wednesday Bible Class . . . 7:00 p.m.
